A massive injury blow
Sunday night, the England camp and another broken metatarsal.
I may have been a trifle tired and emotional as I walked back to the meadow and the tent. I tripped over next door's rope and broke my big toe.
It is now a big cartoon throbbing thing. My football career is over.

Injuries on the subs' bench too: (1) Hall (H) afflicted by torn calf muscle, Embankment, 12.30 13/06/05; (2) Hall (R) laid up with cellulitis (close relative of the flesh-eating bug) of the feet since Saturday; (3) Read knocked unconscious off his bicycle lunch time today in bid to avoid crushing cat. Fate of cat unknown - but we hope dead!
Hall (H) is also suffering from mental trauma, and has lost 12 months of her life in the process.
oh you poor lamb!! Does this mean I can have all of your shoes now as you won't be able to walk in them??!! The answer to that question is "YES" in case your wondering.
